Lypossage® is an outcome based, non-invasive body contouring treatment that may help with temporarily diminishing the look of Cellulite. It also improves elasticity and skin tone around the face, neck and upper arms.

What is Lypossage® ?
Lypossage® is a healthy, non-invasive anti-aging, detoxifying, body-contouring modality backed by variety of research and will be promoted by the Lypossage(TM) Practitioner as an adjunction or alternative to invasive or mechanical versions of anti aging, detoxifying, body contouring modalities and as a modality that stands by itself. In short, It is a contouring technique based on research using lymphatic drainage to drain and detox the body and myofascial techniques to decongest the connective tissue of the body.
The Lypossage® series are18 sessions plus two additional sessions for intake and exit procedure. So in total are 20 session. Each appt is about half hour. The body is divided into three zones.

 

Zone 1 – Hips, thighs, buttocks and lower abdomen:
  • Diminish the appearances of cellulite in areas that tend to be problematic.
  • Improve muscle and skin tone.
  • Affect posture and structure.
  • Feel better in your body.
  • Dimension loss is typical.

FAQs:
Is it a weight loss program?
It is not a weight loss program. You lose inches not weight. Weight loss will come from the healthy changes you make from the Lypossage series.
Can I receive Lypossage® right after pregnancy?
You can receive it one month minimum after normal child birth, and three months after a C-section.
Can I receive Lypossage® during breastfeeding?
Yes.
Do not start hormones before or during your series.
I have facial injections, how long do I need to wait to receive Lypossage® on the face?
It is recommended to wait 4 weeks after any facial injections such as Botox.
Can I just choose to do a single zone?
Absolutely! The Lypossage® is 3 zones that will cover your entire body. But you can choose to do a single problematic zone.

 

How often and when is it recommended to do my series of Lypossag® ?
Ideally you want some time in between visits. Most people do Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Or Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

What do I need do while on the series?
  • You are expected to keep your same eating or improve it.
  • Do the cellulite self-help which is based on diet, exercise, body brush and self massage (see self-care tap for more info about this).
  • Refrain from eating two hours before each session.
  • Drink 8 once glass of water after each session. And drink at least 32 ounces of water per day.
  • Aerobic exercise as opposed to anaerobic exercise is encourage.

Cellulite Self-Help for Lypossage® :
Diet:
  1. Follow a diet that consist of more protein and less carbohydrates. Carbohydrates tend to hold water in the tissue. Stay away from foods that are vasocontrictors, such as caffeinated beverages and chocolate. Ample water intake is important to help flush toxins and waste from system. For every 10 pounds of body weight, four ounces of water are required.
  2. Use the following foods very sparingly: red meat, butter, white rice, white bread, potatoes, pasta and sweets.
  3. Emphasize vegetables and fruits (unless diabetic)
           Stay away from diuretics. Some women resort to them to reduce the dimpling appearance of cellulite. This is a mistake. Diuretics tend to dry out the skin, making it look older.
Exercise:
  1. Consider weight training along with their aerobic exercise. Weight training can be done only 2 times a week with great results. The step stepper is fantastic since is a great aerobic exercise that cleanses the lymphatics and dissolves fat.
  2. Exercise shrinks fat cells and improves muscle tone, which helps to smooth out and firm up the body.
