About the Therapist
As a child I used to travel a long distance to visit my grandmother with the sole purpose of massaging her over worked and tired feet and hands. Despite the distance, it was worth the time to see her smile of relief. Years later, I decided to enroll in massage school and fell in love with holistic care, and got completely fascinated with the human body. I eagerly practiced to hone my massage skills, decided to further my training, and never looked back.
I have been privileged to offer holistic care since 2006 and have since completed my Massage Therapy (MT) and Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) certificates and Thai Massage specialization at the International Professional School of Bodywork (IPSB). I study at The Old Medicine Hospital Shivagakomarpaj in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The school with most long-standing and prestigious reputation in Chiang Mai. Where I furthered even more my Thai massage knowledge and techniques in 2011. And at The Rolfing Institute in Boulder, Colorado. As a result of being very physically active through different sports, but mainly from boxing and swimming, my personal experience with injury and holistic healing has given me greater insight and empathy towards my clients in my practice.
I facilitate office workers in coping with forward neck syndrome, back tension, and contracted shoulder problems, as well as numerous other office-related conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome. My clients range from adolescents to seniors; and from casual and professional athletes to other health care professionals. I also have experience assisting individuals suffering from HIV and car accident-related injuries. I personalize each session based on the client’s needs and wants, combining several techniques as appropriate.
When I was a child, it never crossed my mind that healing would be my chosen career path. I am extremely blessed to say that I love what I do! I look forward to share my abilities to creating greater health with the world. My heart and passion is with my profession, especially with Thai and Sports Massage. To all those seeking therapeutic wellness, I invite you to come and experience a greater level of physical and emotional ease and comfort, and to enter into a richer and more meaningful relationship with your own body.
